By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

VeloTape does not provide recommendations regarding specific securities to buy or sell, and we do not offer trading, investment, tax, or legal advice.

The Service helps you record, organize, and analyze your own trading data. Any statistics, reports, or visualizations are based on information you provide or import. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions.

Trading financial instruments — including futures, forex, options, and equities — involves substantial risk and is not suitable for every person. You may lose some or all of your capital.

Only trade with risk capital you can afford to lose without affecting your financial security or lifestyle. Past performance shown in your journal or in any report is not indicative of future results.

Any backtesting, replay, or simulated analytics features (when available) produce hypothetical results with inherent limitations. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight and do not represent actual trading.

There can be significant differences between simulated results and live trading outcomes, including liquidity, slippage, commissions, emotional factors, and market conditions. No representation is made that any account will achieve similar results.

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account.

VeloTape is a trading journal and analytics platform. Features may include trade logging, performance dashboards, calendars, notebooks, playbooks, CSV import, and broker sync — subject to availability and your plan.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Features marked as beta, preview, or coming soon may be incomplete or unavailable without notice.

VeloTape offers a free tier with core journaling and analytics features. No credit card is required to create an account on the free tier unless you choose a paid plan.

We may modify free-tier limits or features in the future. We will not retroactively remove your ability to export journal data you already stored, except as required by law or these Terms.

If we offer paid plans, fees, billing cycles, and payment methods will be shown at checkout. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor (e.g. Stripe) to charge the applicable fees.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fee changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after reasonable notice. Paid fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in a separate refund policy.

We may offer trials or promotional pricing at our discretion and may modify or cancel them at any time.

You retain ownership of trades, notes, tags, attachments, and other content you submit to the Service (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for its accuracy, legality, and appropriateness.

If you connect a broker or upload files, you authorize VeloTape to retrieve or process trading data on your behalf using the credentials or files you provide.

The Service, including software, design, logos, and documentation (excluding User Content), is owned by VeloTape and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service for your personal or internal business journaling. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

The Service may link to third-party websites or integrate with third-party providers (brokers, auth, hosting, analytics). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in Settings or by contacting support@velotape.com.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VeloTape and its operators, contractors, and suppliers from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your trading activity, or your breach of these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeloTape shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or trading losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty euros (€50), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, you benefit from those protections and may bring claims in your country of residence where permitted by law.

Otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, excluding conflict-of-law rules, and disputes shall be subject to the courts of Italy unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.
